I just finished reading this book. I enjoyed all your books so wanted to make it 100%. Liked this book the least. All your books are a wonderful read. What I did not like were the sex scenes. They seemed to be an afterthought as if it was needed to sell the books. Perhaps you could re-look your sex scenes and eliminate it if they are not moving the stories forward. It worked well in ‘Sweet Disorder’ since it fleshed out Phoebe’s character well but not so much “In for a Penny”. Looking forward to reading more from you.

For me as a writer, the sex scenes in In for a Penny were an important part of developing Nev and Penny’s relationship, but I’m sorry they didn’t work for you. I agree with you that sex should move the story forward and that if it doesn’t, the scene should be eliminated or changed. Thanks again!
