12/14/11: This contest is now closed. The winner is rudi_bee. Congratulations!
I’m going to start running my contests from my blog, because it will make admin a lot simpler for me and hopefully lead to actual monthly giveaways–the signed books are piling up on my shelves! Just comment on this post to enter, and make sure you enter your e-mail address–it shouldn’t show up to other commenters, but I’ll get it and then I can easily notify you of your win. As always, if you want to be alerted when a new contest goes up, I recommend signing up for my newsletter.
This month I’m giving away a signed copy of Courtney Milan’s Unveiled.
It’s the first book in her Turner brothers trilogy, and since the second one, Unclaimed, just hit shelves (and is AWESOME, not to mention being about an ex-courtesan and an innocent blond, like A Lily Among Thorns), I thought this would be a good time to offer up this one! Here’s what I had to say about it on Goodreads:
“As always, Courtney Milan writes the longing for an intimate connection with another human being, and then gives that connection to her hero and heroine, so perfectly I found myself choked up at intervals:
Margaret had always thought a man seduced a woman by making her aware of his charms: his body, his wealth, his kisses. How naïve she’d been.
Ash Turner seduced her with the promise of her own self. She longed to believe him, longed to believe that the nightmare of the past month was nothing more than a delusion, that if she simply screwed her eyes tightly shut, she would be important again. And that desire was more alluring than any promise of wealth, more irresistible than any number of heated kisses pressed against her lips.“
You can read my five-star reviews of both Unveiled and Unclaimed on Goodreads if you want to know more about my deep and abiding love for these books and/or see other readers’ reviews.

Courtney is a new author for me and would love to win and read this book. I love to read and always looking for new books and authors to check out. thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win.
I absolutely adore and love a good love story. I do enjoy a book with a different twist to it. I have read the review about “Unveiled” and I would dearly love to read this story as it appears to contain everything that I love, passion, intrigue and romance. I want to be carried away to another time and place where people lived, loved, and were finding their way to each other. I know that I use this saying a lot when I enter contests but, I don’t have another way of expressing my feelings. This is exactly how I feel when I’m reading an Historical Romance book. I lose myself in the book and go to sleep with a smile on my face and enjoy beautiful dreams where the Hero is my man.
I do like a series over stand alone books as it’s nice to meet and follow characters from one book to another. I also think this heightens the excitement in waiting for the next book to be released.
The cover art is gorgeous and very sensual.
Thank you for this opportunity and for introducing me to a new Author.
I love Courtney’s books but missed out on picking up Unveiled when it was released.
Anyone who hasn’t had a chance to meet her wonderful characters should be sure to check out her website and meet this fabulous author who is fascinating to read.
I’ve heard nothing but GREAT things about this series. I haven’t had the chance to read them yet, but I did read the novella she wrote. It was such a emotional read for novella. It makes me that much more determined to read her full-length books.
Loved the reviews and I can’t wait to read Unveiled. I love how you have a way with the story and your characters.
Rose, I have your first book on my Keeper Shelf and look forward to reading A Lily..very soon. I enjoy your posts, here and on the other blogs you have visited. Courtney Milan is a favorite of mine too so I do hope I’m lucky this time!
Looking forward to reading Unveiled, the reviews have been good. Have a good Autumn…

I’ve never read any of Courtney Milan’s books, which I’m beginning to think is a very terrible fact!
(Just added you on Goodreads, too.)
I haven’t read any of Courtney Milan’s books, which will have to be remedied. I hope to win! Thanks, and I’ll add her to my list. 🙂
I alredy know of the lovely Courtney Milan and her AWESOME books, thank goodness I’ve read all her four novels and two novellas… and yes, I’m a sick fan alredy ^.^ So I think Rose is doing a very cool thing indeed with this giveaway.

I am looking forward to reading one of your books. I just finished an obsolete book by Sandra Hill published by Dorchester Publishing. This is how I found out about your site. Have a great day & a great Thanksgiving! Lyn
